Culinaire takes place on the traditional territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən-speaking Peoples - the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations. We recognize, with gratitude, how fortunate we are to live, work, and play on lands that Indigenous nations have called home since time immemorial.
Story.
Since inception, Culinaire has provided a place for Victorians to taste an abundance of our most unique eateries and celebrated breweries, wineries, cider makers and cocktail bars - all in one space.
Culinaire is an environment where our guests can try food and beverages from numerous places, learn about what they are tasting, appreciate where it comes from, understand why it is made that way, and most importantly, discover new businesses so they can visit them again and again. We have created an event for guests to experience the best food and drink we have to offer and a place where restaurants and purveyors have the chance to truly connect with people and earn their business.
We are proud to support local and regional non-profit organizations such as the the Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia, Camosun College and Vancouver Island University. With more than 25 scholarships and bursaries awarded so far, Culinaire continues to support students and programs associated with the Culinary industry on Vancouver Island.
Shared Spirit.
30+ Scholarships & Bursaries and counting!
It has always been the vision of Culinaire to provide our guests and partners with a memorable experience, which evokes a unique sense of place, culture, hospitality, and the opportunity to share in our support of local and regional charities connected to the hospitality industry.
We know that the most successful chefs are passionate, creative and devoted to their art. And, that a culinary arts degree can inspire future chefs to discover not just the science behind cooking, but how to create dishes that leave their guests speechless. That is why Culinaire strives to bring awareness to the growing culinary scene in Victoria and across our great province. We are committed to helping talented students and aspiring chefs pursue their goal of achieving a professional career in the food & beverage industry.
