Since inception, Culinaire has provided a place for Victorians to taste an abundance of our most unique eateries and celebrated breweries, wineries, cider makers and cocktail bars - all under one roof.
When we started, we thought about creating an environment where our guests could try food and beverages from numerous places, learn about what they were tasting, appreciate where it came from, understand why it was made that way, and most importantly, discover and remember these businesses so they can visit them again and again. We wanted an event that exposed Victorians to the best food and drink we have to offer and a place where restaurants and purveyors had the chance to truly connect with locals and earn their business, all the while supporting local culinary schools and organizations associated with the industry.
We are proud to support local and regional non-profit organizations such as the the Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia and Vancouver Island University. With more than 20 scholarships and bursaries awarded so far, Culinaire continues to support students and programs associated with the Culinary industry on Vancouver Island.
